Khachik (Խաչիկ) is a village in the Areni Municipality of the Vayots Dzor Province in Armenia, located on the Armenia–Azerbaijan border at about 1800 m (5900 ft) above sea level. The village is the home to the fourth Infantry unit of Vayk Brigade. Every September the village hosts the gata festival at Khachik Karakop Monastery. The village has 1000 people, and the kindergarten has 30 kids.
