Meghrashen (Մեղրաշեն) is a village in the Artik Municipality of the Shirak Province of Armenia, and about 98 kms (62 miles) northwest of Yerevan at an elevation of 1,668 meters (5472 feet). It has cold, snowy winters and mild, relatively dry summers. The village is known for its historical significance, the area features ancient sites like the Meghrashen Fortress. Meghrashen has about 1,300 residents. The area is primarily agricultural, particularly livestock farming and crop cultivation, plays a significant role in the local economy.

Project #230: Cost $9,246: In Nov-2025, FOA renovated two more classrooms of the middle school by replacing the damaged flooring with tiles and painting the walls and ceilings of the rooms. This project was dedicated to the memory of Marten Hekimyan.

Project #218: Cost $9,050: In May-2025, FOA renovated two classrooms of the middle school by replacing the damaged flooring with parquet, light fixtures, outlets, and painting the walls and the ceilings of the rooms.
