Nor Kharpert (Nor Kharberd, Նոր Խարբերդ) is a major village in the Ararat Province of Armenia, located 4 kilometers south of Yerevan. The population is 10,600; of which 624 are preschoolers.
The opening ceremony for the renovation of the kindergarten was in Sep-2019 in thehHonor of a long time FOA member Garbis Nishanian for his ongoing dedication and support.
FOA funded and completed many projects in Nor Kharpert’s kindergarten, which houses over 150 children, and many others are on the waiting list.

Project #193; Cost $15,475: In 2022 FOA funded and completed the re-construction of 4 kids bathrooms of the kindergarten.
Project #118; Cost $5,000: In 2018 The Kindergarten’s kitchen was renovated and Equipped with New Range/Oven, Freezer, and Furnishings. Also, reconstructed the staff bathroom.
Project #107; Cost $3,000: In 2017 The Kindergarten was renovated by replacing the Windows and the Doors.
Project #106; Cost $730: In 2017 The Kindergarten was renovated by installing 2-Ton Water Tank.
