Pushkino (Պուշկինո) is a village situated west of Gargar in the Northern part of Lori Province of Armenia. It’s 131 Km from Yerevan and at an elevation of 1,470 metres. Pushkino has about 339 residents.

Project #166; Cost $5,000: In 2019, Pushkino school was renovated. The cost for the project was funded by the Kalustian-Nubarian-Boghosian (KNB Alumni); Egyptian-Armenian organization, and it was coordinated by Friends of Armenia.

  • All windows on all sides of the building were replaced with new European standard double pane windows.

  • A new double door with two fixed sides was built in the hall after the entrance door to maintain the warm air in the classrooms.

  • 22 tables and 44 chairs were renovated to look like new.

  • Purchased 2 Laptops, and some periphery electronics for the computer class.

  • Bought a refrigerator and an electric over for the school kitchen
